Somebody stop us we don't know what we're doing

See, Larry Caillier wasn't so bad. He wasn't a serial rapist. And besides, no one ever appointed a commission to study "what Louisiana can do to create a distinct boundary between cop and criminal." How about not re-electing corrupt sociopathic shitbags like Caillier? How about removing them from office when it becomes clear that they're a liability, or that they're dangerous? How about taking the process and the offices back under public control and demanding accountability? Not a single commission, though! No wonder Caillier stayed in office for fifteen years. What can we do in the face of such apathy, depending as we do upon the kindness of strangers oh BOO HOO HOO HOO (waves hanky)
