Brownie to consult for St. Bernard Parish

Cough cough cough cough. Uhm. I can only assume that this is a ruse for getting him to phsyically enter St. Bernard Parish, where he will be lured into a dark room by a trail of empty Nordstrom's boxes and there be met be a citizen's committee (cough) who will take up certain MATTERS with Mr. Brown, aided by their attorneys, Black & Decker.

"St. Bernard Parish President Henry "Junior'' Rodriguez said prices have not been discussed to this point, nor have any contracts been entered. Rodriguez and three council members met Brown recently during a trip to Washington, D.C."

What, are these guys tired of being elected officials? Are they so desperate to return to the private sector that they will pay Parish money to hire the biggest bureaucratic incompetent since...wait, I don't even have a compariable goverment fuck up. Didn't he already prove that he's not really in the hurricane preparedness business? Seriously, could they give their political enemies any more ammo? Can I write at least one declaritive sentence in this rant? The answer to all these questions is a resounding NO!

I'll have to dredge up the link to the long story analyzing Brown's tenure at FEMA. If Junior and those guys think they're buying access, they are mistaken. This guy lit the fire to burn every bridge he had in Washington while still standing on them.

But then, Friends of Bush can always get Jefe on the phone, and maybe that's what counts.
